Bill Farrell is representative of the older generation from a bygone era, a second-world war veteran in his mid seventies who lives out the remainder of his days with childhood friend Albert Moss. Together they enjoy everyday to the limit, still trying to pull women and getting drunk together planning their retirement in Australia. When Albert passes away Bill has to face a new beginning on his own.
